Renowned British-Caribbean chef Andi Oliver is teaming up with Avi Shashidhrara, Head Chef at Pahli Hill and winner of Great British Menu 2023, for a truly special one-night-only collaboration dinner. Taking place on Thursday 6th March, this exclusive event explores the rich, intertwined history of Indian and Caribbean cuisines, shaped by migration, colonisation, and resilience.
Indo-Caribbean cuisine was born from history – a fusion of Indian culinary traditions and Caribbean ingredients, brought together by those forced to leave their homelands. What emerged is a cuisine full of depth, warmth, and soul, a testament to creativity and survival.
This dinner is a celebration of that journey, paying homage to the people, stories, and flavors that make Indo-Caribbean food so bold and unforgettable.
Expect a carefully curated menu showcasing the true essence of Indo-Caribbean cuisine, with dishes such as: Slow Cooked Goat Glazed with Tamarind & Jaggery Butter, Deep Fried Plantain, Tandoori Red Mullet with Fish Tea Rasam, Pineapple & Rum Granita.
Upon arrival, guests will be welcomed with a limited-edition rum cocktail made with Duppy White rum – infused with flavors of mango, pimento, and fresh thyme.
Throughout the night, Andi Oliver and Avi will be on hand to welcome guests, cook, and share stories about their personal connections to Indo-Caribbean cuisine. With just one exclusive sitting, this promises to be an intimate, vibrant, and delicious evening like no other in London.
The Dinner is £100 per person for the menu and a welcome drink. Make your booking below!
